Visit Alton Towers

Visit Alton TowersAlton Towers is the UK’s leading theme park resort, offering as it does an unrivalled selection of attractions for the whole family to enjoy together. The origins of the Towers themselves date back to the 8th century, although the theme park and other features are rather less historic and within living memory it was little more than a disused stately home and gardens. Owned by Merlin Entertainments Group it now provides an excellent family day out and is well worth a visit, even if all you want to do is relax and enjoy the extensive gardens where there are very many interesting features to be discovered.
